Dissemination and Education in Corbera
As part of the ongoing dissemination and education activities of the LEGACy project, Tania Fleitas, Elena Jimenez, Juan Carbonell and Beatriz Lopez from INCLIVA visited Corbera city to educate on the signs and symptoms, risk factors, risk prevention and early detection of gastric cancer. This was made possible thanks to the support of Corbera town hall and the Spanish Association Against cancer (AECC) Corbera.
The group of about sixty people were invited to participate in the study, which included a survey about the knowledge of the population in this field, and then they received the intervention through a video and leaflets on gastric cancer. A debate was opened to clarify the doubts and concerns of the attendees.
We want to thank to Corbera´s active participation in this event.
